DESIGN:Visual Identity (Logo) | Design Language | Brand Collaterals | Packaging Graphics
Déjà-Vu, is an upscale resto-café, located in Kuwait
Design of a unique Visual Identity, one that would help create an association to the brand. This would further need to be developed into a Design language/ guidelines that would allow for adaptation to various applications and brand touch points. It was necessary that the Visual Language exudes a feeling of luxury without being intimidating to its patrons.
Visual Identity: created, keeping in mind that it needed to be iconic. The font used has clean lines and depicts a sense of stylish elegance. Further, the colour palette in tones of purple and gold are synonymous with the colours of royalty but have been understated so as to not become overpowering in concept.
Design Language: this was created by forming patterns from the graphic element of the brand’s Identity to create a language that was unique to the brand. Further, graphic icons were created to compliment the Design Language.
Brand Collaterals:upon creation of the brand’s distinct Design Language, the same was adapted to the café’s brand collateral. Brand stationery, Menu Cards etc were created to enhance the complete brand experience. This further moved into the Display space as well, with the signage and art displays within the café.
Packaging Graphics: to maintain uniformity and exclusivity of the brand, the Design Language was extended to the café’s packaging in terms of graphics. The unique elements developed were adapted onto their carry bags, food packaging and coffee cups creating a complete and exclusive experience.
