Senior Citizens Bangalore, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) has been actively involved in the support and development of the under privileged. Run by a dedicated team of senior citizens, this organisation is committed to making a palpable difference, bringing hope and a future to many. Headquartered in Bangalore, they are involved in Early Child Care and Education Initiatives, both within the city as well as across Aanganwadis in villages around Bangalore. In addition to this, their humanitarian initiatives work towards keeping people of all ages off the streets and cared for.
Redesign of their Visual Identity as well as their Design Language that would be a reflection of the compassion and ideology of their organisation. This would need to be extended to the redesign of their website as well.
Visual Identity: created, keeping in mind that it needed to simple yet impactful. The logo also needed to convey the core essence of the organisation’s efforts. The use of rounded lines conveys softness and compassion while the logo also forms a part of a circle that is all compassing of the organisations work as well as their ideology.
Design Language: created using a simplistic yet classic style. The use of white spaces conveys the honesty and integrity of the brand and their purpose. The colour and font palette used allows for legibility as well as brand association.
Website: the Design Language previously developed was introduced into their website. An easy-to-navigate format was developed for the website making it extremely user friendly. Graphic icons as well were developed for the website pages further carrying and strengthening the brand’s Visual Language.
